Message from Oregon Department of Energy

Funding for the Oregon Department of Energy's Oregon Rental Home Heat Pump Program is fully reserved as of May 2024, and ODOE is no longer accepting applications.

The Oregon Legislature allocated an additional $4 million to this program during the 2024 legislative session, and we expect that funding to be available for new reservations in July. We will provide updates by email and on our program webpage when ODOE begins accepting new applications.

We're pleased this program is helping expand access to heat pumps for so many Oregon renters, and grateful to the local contractors who have helped make it successful.

We're pleased this program is helping expand access to renewable energy for so many Oregonians, and grateful to the Oregon solar contractors who have helped make it successful.

The following rules have been scheduled for a public rulemaking hearing to receive public testimony on Tuesday, May 21, 2024.

• 9:30 a.m. - Statewide mechanical minor label inspection program
• 10 a.m. - Specialized plumbing inspector certification update
• 10:30 a.m. - 2023 Oregon Residential Reach Code​ adoption​

This will be a hybrid meeting, open to the public both in-person and virtually.

This presentation will provide insight on how to handle an active shooter workplace violence situation. We will go over a “shelter in place” scenario, in the event you are unable to leave your workplace for an extended period of time due to workplace violence or natural disasters. The presentation will give information on how to help prepare your business to avoid becoming a victim of workplace violence and/or crime.
